Will the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Giants repeat as Super Bowl Champions?

I doubt that they’ll repeat. It took several miracles for them to win it last year both in the Super Bowl and games leading up to the Super Bowl (not that there’s anything wrong with that, sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good). I think they have a lot of pride, and won’t go down easily. But everyone’s going to be gunning for them this year. (their non-divisional games this season will be against the AFC North as well as NFC West… they also play Carolina and Minnesota). Their strength of schedule is average. As always, injuries will play a part in how they do. Last year, they just got hot at the right time. Tough to do that two years in a row. They deserved the championship they won last season, but it’s tough to go back-to-back these days. I’d be shocked if they didn’t make the playoffs, but I don’t think they’ll make it back to the Super Bowl this year. Eli’s probably still trying to figure out how they won it all last year.
