Will the cubs still make it to the playoffs w/o soriano?
Nah… Cubs suck with or without Soriano in the lineup. My guess is that the Brewers organization is going to offer Bartman seats to every single Cubs game for the rest of the season so that he’ll screw their chances of making the playoffs. Zambrano is sure to cool off sooner rather than later, and Derrick Lee is the most overrated player in the game. Ramirez is the only solid player in the Cubs lineup other than Soriano, but he wont be able to do it alone. Over the next few weeks, the Brewers are going to pull away with the division once again… and once Ben Sheets gets back… the Cubs chances of winning that division and making the playoffs will officially be zero.
