Will the bumpy surface of some embossings cause image deterioration?
The embossing does not diminish the quality of your print clarity. The peaks and valleys of the embossing will be filled in by the spray of the ink jet head. Many users have reported that the embossing often hides print and/ or file imperfections which would be more easily noticeable on a flat surface. For example, minor banding can sometimes be reduced considerably because the embossed surfaces can hide the streaks.
