Will the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Event Take Their Toys and Play in Vegas? Friday May 11, 2007 Apparently Craig Jackson, the owner of the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction, said he is fed up with Scottsdale. They have been negotiating about long-term plans for the high end classic car auction which has become a Scottsdale tradition. Jackson said that he plans to build a bigger auction in Las Vegas and scale back his annual Scottsdale event. Will the tradition continue or will Jackson take his toys to Vegas? We hope not.
