Will the Aerolite require any changes or should I make modifications during assembly and during my ownership of the Aerolite?
No, the aerolite has seen very little changes since entering into the ultralight market. Some of the small changes have been either minor upgrades or a result of streamlining the production of the Aerolite. There can also be a slight modification to allow for larger pilots. These will usually be done at the factory while the kit is being produced or by the owner along with company supervision. This is one of those areas most all designers and manufacturers of ultralight aircraft agree on, and have concern over, is that “temptation” for their builders to make changes to the design. There are many who feel that they have a better way and/or ideas regarding the assembly, structure or operation of the design. You may be persuaded by others that may even fly the same design or another design. “Worse yet”, they don t even fly at all and try to relate the design to some other piece of non-flying equipment or vehicle.
