The Actron Code Scanners and Scan Tools are designed to retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the Powertrain controller (engine computer) only. They will not retrieve Anti-Lock Brake (ABS) or Airbag (SRS) codes. These systems use separate computers that the scan tools are not capable of communicating with. There is limited coverage for Ford and GM ABS Systems. The GM Code Scanner CP9001 and the Ford Code Scanner CP9015 allow for ABS coverage on some vehicles.
