Our Tonneau Covers are waterproof and our rails come with a closed cell gasket attached to the sides. However, your tailgate is not sealed like your doors. We suggest that you purchase the optional TrailSeal Tailgate Gasket for that. On some pickup models the stake pockets may need to be covered.
