The HomePortal Monitor application will work with Windows XP. If you are upgrading to Windows XP, the HomePortal Monitor application (if installed) must be uninstalled before upgrading and then reinstalled after the upgrade is complete. This is necessary since the HomePortal Monitor uses the Windows registry for some activities and registry incompatibilities exist between previous Windows operating systems and Windows XP.
