Will Teeth Whitening or XpresSmile hurt the soft tissue?
No. The XpresSmile process when administered with care will not hurt your mouth or soft tissue. People with periodontal disease (gum disease), or excessive caries (cavities), should be treated for these conditions prior to using XpresSmile. The active ingredient in the bleaching gel itself is safe. If sensitivity to the soft tissue does happen, this means an existing dental or oral health condition of the person using the product is being aggravated.
