Will Tea Tree Oil help my cardilage peircing infection?

No Tree Tea Oil! Worst thing you could do to your piercing besides constantly changing jewelry before the piercing is properly healed. Basically, the oil smothers the piercing so the piercing can’t “breathe” and heal properly. Plus, the oil attracts dirt and is a breeding ground for bacteria, leading to an even bigger infection than you have now! Best advice my piercer gave me? Get yourself a bottle of colloidal silver. Apply it generously with a cotton ear-bud up to three times a day, make sure you keep all hair away from your piercing, and don’t ever touch your piercing with dirty hands. You can also apply a water-based cream, such as BioCort, that contains cortisone. This will reduce the redness and inflammation. Your local drugstore should have these things. Not sure if BioCort is available in the USA, but anything with a bit of cortisone will help. Cartilage takes months to heal properly. My helix is also still sensitive and I had that done almost 9 months ago!
