Will space travel become a vacation destination for people?

It will, absolutely. Consider what intercontinental flight has done in the past 50 years. I personally circled the planet three time in my 20’s, and I did it working as a ski instructor, cook, and roofer. A century (or less) ago, you would have had to have had a lot of money to do that. Right now space travel is starting to be commercialized, and you can indeed go to space for a couple of million bucks. Given time and competition, the price to go to space will only go down. Think back 500 years, most people never went more than a few miles from where they were born. Then a few hundred years ago a small number of people sailed to points all over the earth. Those numbers grew, and air travel began. Few people could afford to fly at the beginning, and now you can find $9 flights from the US to South America if you know where to look. (I do) Space is just the next place. It’ll probably be expensive for the next 40-50 years, but it will eventually be no big deal.
