Seeing as how downloading isn’t illegal in Canada, no. It is only illegal to let people upload from you in Canada. Most people think that you have to let people upload if you are downloading, but that is false. All you have to do to make it so that people can’t upload from you is move your file out of your shared folder and into another folder (ei. my music).
