Will SoftPlan run on the Windows Vista Operating System?
Versions 12 and Earlier Windows Vista is not recommended for Versions 12 and earlier which were developed before its release and are not fully compatible. Version 13.3.3 and Earlier Issues have been identified when running Version 13 using Windows Vista as follows: problems importing images, SoftTalk does not function, and an inability to edit cabinets. These issues have been resolved in version 13.3.4. Version 13.3.4 An issue has been identified when running Version 13 using Windows Vista as follows: SoftPlan fractional characters such as ⅜, do not display when using Windows Vista. This problem can be corrected by going to File > System Options > Character Setup. In the Fractional Characters field, place a checkmark in the Expand box. This will format fractional characters to be displayed as more than one character, for example 3/8.
