This is not true. Will Smith is a Jr. who is named after his dad, Willard C. Smith Sr. who acutally owned a refrigeration company that provided a pretty lucrative income for his family. Will’s parents actually divorced during Will’s high school and college days. Sidney Poitier actually has 5 children, all of which are daughters. His daughter Sydney Tamiia Poitier born in 1973 is also an actress, along with three of her sisters. However, none of them are as famous as their Academy Award winning father.
