Will schizophrenic people have learning disabilities?
Since schizophrenia usually becomes a problem in the late teens or after, it often does not interfere directly with a person’s early education unless other problems exist. Most schizophrenics learn the same skills as other people. The relationship between schizophrenia and certain kinds of learning disabilities is under investigation.
