Will ScanSoft require employees going forward with the new organization to sign a non-competition agreement post-closing?
Where legally enforceable, ScanSoft does have a policy of instituting non-competition agreements as a condition of employment. It is not our intention to block employees from seeking alternative employment but to protect the assets of the company.
