Will saddle shoes ever become popular again with teens?
I honestly do not see this happening. I do believe that the concept of a two-tone shoe will always have its audience, and a decent one at that, but not to the extent of going back to the saddle shoe. As a dancer of the swing style, I do appreciate and enjoy seeing people dress in the period clothing. I think it’s a lot of fun to see that type of clothing. I do think, however, that in order for the saddle shoe and other period clothing to make a comeback, the life style and music types would also need to make a comeback. I do not believe that the current trends in music evolution will, or can, ever back track.
