Yes of course it will.i live in ireland and since it is an island we cud harness lots of wind and wave and tidal energy and yes it is possible to do this and it is possible to meet all our energy needs by doing this however the reason this is not being done boils down to one thing -MONEY.Governments are not willing to spend vast amounts of money on these rescources because they fear it will damage the economy so they hide behind the excuse that it is unfeasible when it is very possible its just the cost that is stopping these developments from happening.For those of you who believe saving the economy is a good excuse think of it this way:oil prices will rise and rise and rise because oil production has peaked,FACT.And so oil is getting more and more scarce hence the huge price rises.Therefore in 50 years time we will regret not taking action now because the price of oil will truly be overwhelming(unless new substantial reserves are found) and our economies will be worse than ever befor
