Will rapidshare downloads be effected by the UK internet crackdown on music and film piracy?
Personnaly, I don’t really see how they can do it. With millions of customers, downloading 100’s of millions of bits of information, unsecure wireless connections, how can they keep that much information stored, I’ve been with same internet provider for years, they have a list of everything I’ve downloaded, I doubt it, besides most of it has been deleted long ago, so how can they prove it, anybody can say, well I have this list..etc. That proves nothing. How do they know someone hasn’t hacked my wireless connection? I mean internet kiddie orn freaks who hack into your connection from outside your house, the cops have to actually come and stake out your house. How many poeple are they going to have to pay to monitor this list, and who is going to pay for it, the record company? Movie companies are still making record profits, if I download somethinig watch it and like it, then i go see it in the theatre, but these days the majority of movies are only worth a free download, besides they
