Racism is just a symptom of vanity and pride. Vanity and pride are a part of human nature- which everyone is born with. Haven’t you ever noticed racist people also tend to think very highly of themselves? Yet a lot of supposedly anti-racism people, seem to think racial pride, and celebrating the accomplishments of this or that race is the answer. Race should never be praised. It means nothing. Make no mistake about it, though, people will always NOTICE the physical differences between each other: Children always will. They say things to each other like, “How come your skin is so dark: did you get burnt in the sun?”, or one I heard a lot, growing up as a white boy in a black neighborhood, “You don’t have any lips”.
