Will Pro-Tek® rigid vinyl sheets expand and contract upon installation?
A22 In a normal interior application, Pro-Tek® rigid vinyl is a stabile material, if it has been properly acclimated to the environment. In applications where temperature gradients exceed normal variations, rigid vinyl may experience a modest level of expansion and contraction. In locations that receive direct sunlight or experience severe fluctuations in temperature and humidity levels, rigid vinyl will expand and contract significantly. These applications should be avoided.
