Inkjet printer manufacturers use the terms “cold” and “thermal” to describe the different technologies used to produce the ink droplets in the printer. “Bubble Jet” printers are a type of thermal inkjet printer. Printed Treasures has been shown to work with inks used by both types of printers. Neither type of printer actually cools or heats the paper or fabric as they pass through the printer.
