Any time you take a steroid type drug it has the potential to make you put on some weight. It is just an adverse reaction to the drug. It makes some people hungry and they eat more. It causes some people to get what they call a moon face-their face swells up a little from the steroid. If it is taken over a long period of time then it has the potential of making your bones brittle too. It has alot of potential adverse reactions as do most drugs but this one usually results in some adverse reaction. Short term use shouldn’t be too bad but long term use is not good. It also raises your glucose level in your blood.
