Will PhoneSweep work with IP Telephony systems?
PhoneSweep communicates with other computers and modems through the COM ports on the computer and analog telephone lines connected to analog modems. PhoneSweep uses the expanded AT command set to send information requests to the modems and faxes and waits for responses. We at Sandstorm know of no IP telephony system that deals properly with COM ports and the AT command set to enable PhoneSweep to perform phone line auditing properly.
