Will Philadelphia Eagles center Jamaal Jackson miss rest of season with ACL tear?
Philadelphia Eagles center Jamaal Jackson tore his ACL during Sunday’s 30-27 victory over the Denver Broncos and will miss the remainder of the season. It’s a big blow to the steadily improving offensive line where Jackson was considered to be an anchor. Coach Andy Reid stated that Jackson had an MRI Monday morning which revealed the tear. Nick Cole will move from right guard to center for the remainder of the season. “We’re fortunate that we have Nick here who is a center,” Reid said per Philly.com. “He’s on the same page as Donovan [McNabb] with the snap counts and everything.” The Eagles travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys for their season finale in a game with potentially large playoff seeding implications.
