Will performing handstand press ups everyday result in overtraining?
It can, just like any exercise, but there is more to it than just yes or no. Any exercise, in excess, will result in over training. Even walking, if someone were to walk til they drop, and do that every day. Sooner or later it will catch up to them. But if the exercise is done in moderation, not to exhaustion, and the time between workouts allows for sufficient rest, over training may not be an issue. Although handstand press ups are a somewhat difficult exercise for most people, there will be some individuals whose body structure, metabolism, strength to weight ratio, etc., will allow them to do these daily with relative ease, just like push ups or sit ups for other individuals. If this is the case, and each workout is not an extreme Challenge, there is little chance of over training. So, no, this exercise in and of itself will not automatically result in over training just by doing it daily.
