Will Parrotlet pairs have multiple clutches?
Yes, Many pairs will have multiple clutches. Most pairs will usually rest between clutches, however, a very prolific pair will continue to lay clutch after clutch despite the fact the pair is still feeding un-weaned babies from the previous clutch. In this case, the pair should have their nest box removed immediately after the eggs have hatched and babies are removed. No pair should have more than 3 clutches per year.
