Will OWEN do worse @ OT than R Keane did at Anfield….?
Nope, because Owen has an understanding manager who will give him a chance, and help to refine him as a player, unlike Keane who was defeated even before he donned the shirt, due to a manager who didn’t have a clue – buying players then not playing them. Obviously fed up competing with moneybags Real Madrid, Ferguson opted for a free striker instead, and I think Owen will fit in with United’s style of play. I saw an Owen interview just now, and it looked like he had just busted out a silent one while being sucked off; he could hardly contain his grin at signing for United. I can’t remember Keane being that happy when he signed for Liverpool. He could have been a star at Anfield, but we all know why he wasn’t – certainly nothing to do with him… Bottom line: Ferguson wanted Owen; Rafa didn’t really want Keane, just wanted to bring in a high-profile player to appease the fans and make himself look good…
