(WPIX) — “One Tree Hill” star Antwon Tanner was charged Thursday in Brooklyn Federal Court with trafficking in fake Social Security cards and numbers. The 34-year-old plays Antwon “Skills” Taylor on the teen-oriented drama, which airs on the CW Television Network. The two-count grand jury indictment contains few details. The first count charges that Tanner used one or more fake Social Security cards, while the second count charges he used fake Social Security numbers to get unspecified items of value worth $1,000 or more. Tanner was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon. The actor has appeared in the prime time drama for five seasons and divides his time between Los Angeles and Wilmington, N.C., where “One Tree Hill” is filmed. Tanner has also appeared in the movie “Coach Carter” as well as the TV shows “Boston Public,” “CSI” and ” NYPD Blue.” Settlement
