Will Older themes work with Newer versions of iWork?

Previous-version iWork themes may not be as feature-rich as current ’08/’09-optimized themes, but they will work as expected in almost all cases. Additionally, all themes built for iWork versions prior to iWork ’08 use mask-based imagery rather than the object-based imagery paradigm of the more current versions, so they’re a bit different to use in practice – be sure to read the Getting Started guide for tips on getting the most out of your mask-based themes.
