11.1 No. Regulation of Internet naming and addressing (eg the domain names system) has been specifically excluded from the new regulations. Recital 20 of the Framework Directives preamble states that its provisions do not establish any new areas of responsibility for the national regulatory authorities in the field of Internet naming and addressing.
