Will nuclear weapons ever be completely eliminated?
It is highly unlikely that a country such as the United States would ever completely dismantle its nuclear weapons program if there is any possibility that an enemy might still have its own nuclear weapons. Eliminating that possibility is practically impossible. Nuclear weapons will probably be around until a new but equally deadly type of weapon replaces them.
