Will night set on Twilights B.C. film sets?
Tough break, Twi-hards. Word in vampire-land is that filming on Breaking Dawn, the fourth film in the blockbuster Twilight series, is heading south of the border, a move that’s sure to disappoint fans here. But both Twilight Saga: New Moon, which opens Friday, Nov. 20, and the third film, Eclipse, were filmed in B.C. in 2009 on locations throughout the Lower Mainland – including a set near Cloverdale. But it seems the prospect of a healthier Canadian dollar – and other factors that inflate film production costs – is a more terrifying prospect to film producers than dealing with a cast of blood-thirsty vampires.
