The heat was on in a Mountain West women’s semifinal soccer game yesterday between Brigham Young and New Mexico. New Mexico defender Elizabeth Lambert’s physical play is all over the Internet today — and rightfully so — after the 5-8 junior punched, kicked and roughed up just about any BYU player unfortunate enough to cross her path. The video below tells the full story and shows Lambert shoving one player, kicking another, kicking the ball into another’s face (for which Lambert received a yellow card) and finally violently yanking an opponent to the ground by her pony tail.
