Once injuries and off-field troubles brought Vick down to earth, LaDainian Tomlinson took over as the top dog. LT’s production was unmatched for most of this decade, and hobbyists flocked to him in increasing numbers. But Tomlinson has looked mortal this season, and while watching Monday Night Football last night, I couldn’t help but think there might be one more player who could emerge as the leader of the 2001 crowd.
