Will my Nike + iPod WatchRemote control my running partner’s iPod nano or other Nike+ users in my area?
The Nike + iPod WatchRemote units have individualized addresses that are set when the battery is installed into the unit. Using the iPod menu, select: Nike+ iPod > Settings > Remote > Link and follow the on-screen instructions. This will link your unique Nike + iPod WatchRemote address to your iPod nano. Your iPod nano will now listen only to your Nike + iPod WatchRemote — it will ignore any others.
