Will my green cheeked conure and my kakariki get on together?
I have a cockatiel and a kakariki. They both come out of the cage together. The cockatiel usually sits with me but the kakariki is always on the go (as you probably know). He will check everything out but never allow me to touch him, even though he was hand raised. He never touches my cockatiel and I have put them in the same cage at different times to see what they do. My kakariki is such a “tough” bird yet will run away from my cockatiel. My cockatiel is happy, as long as there is food for her to eat. She explores his cage. He sits on the opposite perch to her and watches. Funny.
