Will my Dicksonia antarctica live?

I suppose few of us over here, at least in the UK, have experienced those kind of temps Roger……..what does the centre of the fern look like is an obvious question I suppose. Its not really black knuckles you want to see I just use straw pushed deep into the crown with a little plastic cover to keep excess rain out the crown. I would think with your blanket you should be ok but you are not out of the woods as far as winter is concerned just yet. These were mine ferns 2008 after a week of sub zero temps going to – 6 C ………..all Dicksonia antartica came back fine BTW your Livistona chinensis looks like it going to end up with brown leaves from that picture.
