A13: The Nicor Advanced Energy Lock 12 program is a payment protection plan, and not intended to be a savings plan. If gas prices go up during the next 12 months or we have colder than normal weather, your company’s Lock 12 amount will not change. Conversely, if the winter weather is warmer than normal and/or gas prices go down, your Lock 12 amount will not change. Your company’s total Lock 12 plan amount may be higher or lower compared to what your total Nicor Gas Budget Plan amount would be during the same time period.
