Will my Bang & Olufsen remote work my Sky/Freeview box?
In the vast majority of cases the answer will be yes – assuming you have the STB Controller either fitted as standard equipment or an optional extra on your set. Please let us know which set top box you will be planning to use and we can make sure that it will be covered. There are literally thousands of different Set Top Boxes in the world and unfortunately Bang & Olufsen cannot learn the codes for all of them! Also bear in mind that if the Television you have bought is a 2005 model and the STB you have just bought was newly released in 2008, chances are they didn’t know about it 3 years previously and couldn’t have learnt the codes! However, Bang & Olufsen have addressed this and release regular STB Software updates with the latest STB and Freeview boxes on.
