At this young age it is a possibility that if you start giving him additional milk, especially if given by a bottle (which at this age is what you would most likely do) then he may decide to just stick with the bottle, you also run the risk of losing more of your milk. Are you sure you are not producing enough milk anymore – with my first baby at the 3 month mark I felt exactly the same way – I thought that I was not producing enough for my son anymore as he was finishing his feeds quicker, my breasts felt alot more softer even at the beginning of a feed and he started only sleeping for 45 minutes at a time. I talked to a few of the midwives at my work and they assured me as I had had heaps of milk in the first few weeks as long as I was feeding him about every three hours or so I would still have heaps of milk – the difference was that by three months the breasts have settled down so only make what the baby needs, also that at three months alot of babies go through a growth spurt so m
