Will mowing or shreading my Huisache or Mesquite kill it ?
A. If you mow a single stem huisache it will re-emerge as a multi stem plant and the more you mow the more stems will emerge later on . Mowing will only look good for the short term and not kill the plant. Q. How do you treat RoseHedge (Mcartney rose) A. I use A 4 wheel drive pickup with a 100 gallon tank and 200 ft. of hose to saturate each plant ) Q. I have a guy that has a license that can buy the restricted use Herbicide that it takes to to kill my brush, is this legal for him to do this and charge me for his service A. It is legal for him to buy the restrictide use herbicide for personal use only, but not to turn around and appy it for you for hire. Also A:Private applicator is not required to provide insurance to the TDA to retain a private applicator license. A Licensed Commercial Applicator for hire such as my self is required to have insurance (Which protects you ) and to also obtain 5 CEUS ( continuing education units) to renew the commercial license yearly .
