Quebec City does not have an affiliated minor league baseball team – the only affiliated minor league team still in Canada are the Vancouver Canadians, a Short Season Class A team in the Northwest League. The Quebec City Capitales are in the non-affiliated Canadian-American League and have no ties to any MLB team. Beyond that, I can’t see Montreal getting a minor league team without a new stadium. Le Stade Olympique’s time has long past and the failure to replace it was just one of the contributing factors to the departure of the Expos.
