Will Mika Salo and Lucas Luhr be two of the American Le Mans Series Drivers of the Decade?
The 10th season of the American Le Mans Series is coming to close, and it has been a year for the ages. With the Series heading west for the season finale at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, it is time to honor those who have made the first 10 years of the American Le Mans Series unforgettable. From now until October 15, the Series is asking fans to pick their ultimate podiums in voting for the Drivers of the Decade. http://americanlemans.com/poll/poll.aspx The list of choices includes the elite of the elite. It consists of drivers with at least 35 starts, five Series victories and/or one Series championship. Voting will close at midnight on Wednesday, October 15 to coincide with the start of the Monterey Sports Car Championships. The Series will reveal the results during the weekend. The final round of the 2008 American Le Mans Series is the Monterey Sports Car Championships from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The four-hour race into darkness is scheduled to start at 2:45 p.m. PT on Saturday, O
