MEE does not currently have software to encrypt PDA’s and other portable devices. These devices have different security options. It is recommended that the highest level of security be used on the devices. Where applicable, • Set a password to use the device. Passwords should be 4 characters or more. • Set the device to automatically lock the screen after one minute of inactivity. • Set a new password on the device every 6 – 180 days. • Encrypt all data sent to a server (such as an e-mail server). • Encrypt the data that is stored on the device.
