Will Medicaid pay for long-term care at Tanglewood Assisted Living?

No. If a resident exhaust their private assets, Medicaid will pay for long-term care but only at a licensed nursing home. As the law is presently written, Medicaid will not pay for long-term care at a licensed adult foster care facility (ie. assisted living facilities with 20 beds or less), nor at a licensed home for the aged (ie. assisted living facilities with more than 20 beds).
