Will loose body wave perm give me the look I want?
Generally, a body wave will not give you that much curl. I think you’d need a regular perm (using the largest perm rods) to get that kind of curl. But your stylist would know, also she/he would know what kind of hair you have (also a factor). You should bring those pictures in to your stylist to see what she/he says on how you can achieve those looks, and if it can be done with a perm. Yes, a perm would lessen the amount of time you spend curling your hair in the morning. After a perm, I was able to towel dry, comb through leave-in conditioner, apply some light styling gel with fingers and just scrunch now and then as it dried. (No hair-dryer.) Please note: right after the perm, your hair will be at its curliest but don’t wash it right away (even if you hate it because it’s a bit more curly than you want). If you wash it right away, you’re essentially washing out the perm. If you follow the instructions from your stylist and wait to shampoo, then the curl will start to relax after a da
