Lecaire is “unproven” in this league. When he was healthy he did play well. He will be number one once the season starts next year. Elliot will be a good backup. As for the trade, the Sens came away big time winners. Vermette has done nothing for the Sens. He has shown potential but hasn’t amounted to anything. Getting a potential number one goalie (ottawa has never had a true number one goalie… Hasek = terrible) and a second round draft pick, is an incredible deal! if you like hockey, there is a good website with lots of fun hockey trivia, and games, etc.
