Will KitchenAid® Five-Ply 18/10 Stainless Steel Clad Cookware work on an induction range?
No. And there’s a good reason for this. In order to work on an induction range, the stainless steel used for a pan’s exterior has to be downgraded to 18/0 quality. The 0 means it does not contain nickel. Nickel allows a brighter, more durable rust resistant luster. We chose 18/10 stainless steel to assure long-term beauty and quality.
