Will King Tuts death Mask be included in the Exhibition?
Tut’s death mask and sarcophagus are not allowed to leave Egypt and therefore are not included in the exhibition. However, visitors will encounter the intricate, gold canopic coffinette that held Tutankhamun’s liver, the crown that he likely wore in life discovered encircling the head of his mummy, and the 7-ft. gilded sarcophagus of his great-grandmother, Tjuya.
